This year, you have two ways to help save the shelter dogs:

  • Run or walk in person with 2- or 4-legged friends on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Alum Creek State Park Beach area.
  • Or, you can participate virtually Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 28-Oct. 1.

You have so many reasons to register at 5KforK9s.com:

  • Our fun 2024 t-shirt
  • In addition to our fun, soft t-shirts that are always a hit, each participant will also receive a medal! We’re so excited to be able to offer medals to all of the walkers/runners this year to commemorate how you helped save the sick & injured shelter dogs.
  • And, most importantly, saving a shelter dog’s life! Each year, Friends of the Shelter needs $200,000 for the medical care for the shelter dogs. 5K for K9s is one of our largest fundraisers, and the shelter pups count on your support every year.

The run/walk kicks off at 9:00 AM, with registration beginning at 8:00 AM.
