Friends of the Shelter is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The 5K for K9s is one of our largest annual fundraisers. It is a 5K run or walk and, thanks to our generous sponsors, 100% of the proceeds raised goes directly to the dogs! All race fees, sponsorships, and pledges help pay for the medical care for sick and injured dogs at the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center.
We would love to have your business join us as a sponsor. Your sponsorship is tax deductible and helps save the lives of hundreds of dogs each year.
Sponsorships must be received by August 15, 2026 to guarantee advance promotion opportunities!
